Born in 1920 in Milan, Lombardy. A painter, illustrator, and graphic designer, he studied at the Brera Academy of Arts in Milan. In 1949 he was hired at Olivetti Advertising and Development Department where, together with Walter Ballmer, he contributed to design Olivetti’s corporate identity. He worked for Olivetti for almost 30 years, although during this period he also worked for other clients such as Edizioni di Comunità and Electa. He was awarded the Mondadori Prize in 1969 and other important recognitions. As a painter and graphic artist, he exhibited his works in Milan, Paris, London, and Tokyo. He died in 2006.
