Born in Udine, Friuli-Venezia Giulia, 1959. After graduating from the Institute of Art in his hometown, he started working at the advertising office of Snaidero, a kitchen manufacturing company based outside Udine. In 1988 his opened his own firm focusing on art direction and corporate design for major furniture brands such as Arteluce, Flos, Fantoni, Moroso, and others. In 1999 he was appointed director of the visual communication of Foscarini and three years later he established Designwork, one of the best design firms in Italy. Since 2010 he also acts as art director of Foscarini’s magazine Inventario, that was awarded a Compasso d’Oro in 2014. In 2005 he started teaching visual communication at the IUAV University in Venice.
