Notes
The first poster designed by Massimo Vignelli for Salone, the world-famous Milan Furniture Fair. It was part of a new corporate identity program entirely designed by Vignelli, which still characterizes the identity of Salone. Vignelli introduced new communication standards and graphic elements such as structured layouts, plain typography, the use of an elegant typeface (Our Bodoni), and bright backgrounds printed in warm red.
