Front and back covers of a catalog titled “La grande estate” (The great summer). The covers show a sort of sun, hand-drawn with orange and magenta pencils. This technique was mastered by Vignelli, who used it also on later works. Both colours and illustration perfectly communicate the hot of the summer.
