Notes
A classic black-red-white book cover for the complete writings of Karl Marx and Friedrich Engels. The colour combination was identificative of Editori Riuniti, a publisher close to the Communist Party for which Bruno Munari designed most of the book series.

Although colour is strong, typography is quite bad. Akzidenz-Grotesk and Helvetica are confusedly combined and the full-width, centered alignment isn’t just basic but trivial. While the tracking of the title isn’t trivial for sure but just bad. Despite having some visual impact, the covers seem to lack of typographical expertise.
