Notes
The logotype of the acclaimed furniture manufacturing company Knoll International was introduced in 1966 as a more legible signature to be used alongside the slab-serif ‘K’ trademark, that was designed by Herbert Matter and already in use since 1946. Massimo Vignelli’s Helvetica logotype — first used in plain black and white, and later in the identificative warm red — gradually substituted the previous trademark becoming the timeless visual icon of Knoll.
